Welcome to the IFRS Monitor web site

IFRS Monitor is an electronic reporting service (International Standard-setting Report) which provides subscribers with a detailed analysis of the proceedings of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). This is distributed by e-mail for the Monday morning following the monthly IASB meeting.

Technical journalists attend the monthly standard-setting meeting and then produce a detailed write-up of the debate and the positions taken by individual Board members. This is the most detailed version of the IASB’s proceedings that is available from any source. The IASB itself only publishes a decision-summary.

If you want to monitor the IASB debate, to comment on proposals or prepare for upcoming changes, IFRS Monitor provides the most complete record. It is an essential tool for technical committees concerned with financial reporting standards.
